Rebecca Kassab is a Brazilian actress of Syrian-Lebanese descent, fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and conversant in Arabic and French. On screen, she has acted in major streaming series such as The King of TV (Disney+, 2022), Os Ausentes (HBO Max, 2021), Colapso (2022), and Nobody’s Looking (Netflix, 2019), among other projects soon to be released. She has also acted in several short films, including Our Unforgettable Fellow (Victor Stoll, 2024), in which she played the lead role. The film received the Best Ensemble Cast Award at the UNESP Film Festival in Brazil and was officially selected in 2025 for Festival Curta Cinema (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), Cine OP (Ouro Preto, Brazil), Mirada Corta (Mexico City, Mexico), Kinotoy Fest (Brasília, Brazil), and NFFTY (Seattle, USA). She also played the lead in From Other Springs (Anna Mol, 2022), which was selected for the 24th Tiradentes Film Festival in Brazil. Most recently, she acted in her first feature film, Bom Retorno (Breno Alvarenga, 2025), currently in post-production.

On stage, Rebecca has performed in Invisible Cities (dir. Leonardo Bertholini, 2023), The Asphalt Kiss (dir. Jefferson Coutinho), The Balcony (dir. Jefferson Fonseca), and The Trial (dir. Rick Alves), among others. She studied Theater at the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (PUC Minas), and also trained at Galpão Cine Horto—the school of Grupo Galpão, one of the most renowned theater companies in Brazil—as well as with Cia. Luna Lunera and other institutions. In addition, she completed an intensive training program at the Escuela de Interpretación Cristina Rota (Madrid, 2020), and holds degrees in Design Management and Cultures from the University of the Arts London (2017) and in Communications from PUC Minas (2018). In 2022, she attended the Cannes Film Festival, participating in masterclasses with Mads Mikkelsen, Javier Bardem, and other international cinema professionals, and had the invaluable opportunity to watch a wide selection of films from around the world, gaining exposure to diverse storytelling styles and cinematic approaches.

Currently, Rebecca is deepening her research on acting techniques, exploring concrete tools for performance such as the Meisner Technique, Lee Strasberg’s Method, and approaches developed by Brazilian theater and audiovisual professionals. Guided by curiosity and a desire to be truthful in her work, she draws on her multicultural background and international experiences to connect deeply with each character, whether on stage or on screen.
